Free Ski Lessons in your own back yard? Almost, Lee Tornincasa, a Level I Certified Ski Instructor, and Ski Patroller at the Pines Ski Area in Valparaiso is offering free ski lessons at the Pines. Lee is working towards his Level II Instructor Certification and needs to accumulate instructing hours. Lee is available by appointment at (708) 369-7081 and can instruct weekdays and evenings.
This Coming Summer: A date had been set for the CMSC Chicago White Sox outing. It will be on Saturday, July 8, 2006 against the Boston Red Sox. The cost would be about $42 per person to cover the cost of the ticket in the right field bleachers and a tailgate party starting 2 hours before game time (BYOB). Inland Ski Club has reserved 30 tickets. More details will be posted here as they develop
